Mucins in assessment of tumoral biopotential

Abstract

The article presented the results of histological study of bioptates that were taken from different parts of gastrointestinal tract of 111 patients. The material was investigated after staining of the sections by means of histological methods that usually used for mucin selected revealing. The study demonstrated the histochemical and immunological marks of metaplasia transformation in dysplasia and adenocarcinoma for the esophagus, the stomach and the colon.
