OPTIMIZATION OF SURGICAL TREATMENT OF UPPER PURULENT MEDIASTINITIS
Abstract
The new method of surgical treatment and drainage of the upper mediastinitis is optimized (utility patent number 62504 from 27.04.2007). This method provides creating tightness in the upper thoracic holes with the cuff is worn on the chest tube. Using the proposed method can improve the performance of treatment of mediastinitis and to decrease the mortality rate of this disease.
