Planned 2024, No. 4 Medical issues in the field of obstetrics and gynecology have always been closely intertwined with social and demographic factors. Medical aspects related to reproductive health and quality of life of a woman remain extremely relevant. Wide-ranging discussions around these topics and the search for effective solutions will contribute to the development of advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies for gynecological and perinatal patients, as well as to continuing education of specialists. One of the priority tasks of modern gynecology and perinatal medicine is the introduction of resource-saving and cost-effective technologies based on the principles of evidence-based medicine. The main directions for innovative development in the above fields concern improved treatment and diagnostic processes; novel technologies in the field of marketing of medical services and financial management; IT innovations; and advanced standards of surgical care and drug therapy.
