SUBJECT ISSUE: "DENTISTRY: INNOVATIONS AND PROSPECTS FOR IMPLEMENTATION IN CLINICAL PRACTICE"
Planned: 2025, No. 5
Worldwide, more than 3 billion people suffer from oral diseases according to the WHO report for 2024. High prevalence of maxillofacial diseases, their negative impact on the quality of patients’ life determines the relevance of improving the methods of diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with dental pathology. Modern advances in dentistry significantly prevent the occurrence and development of dental diseases, which are a serious problem for people's health throughout their lives, causing pain, discomfort, and defects. The solution to these problems is possible only through the development of innovative technologies, including the use of artificial intelligence, and the introduction of products based on them into practical healthcare, which requires an active exchange of opinions and research, results within the professional community. Such a dialogue helps to disseminate scientific knowledge and achievements in dentistry, and to translate discoveries of fundamental science into clinical practice, which affects the quality and life expectancy of our patients.
The subject issue of the journal will be devoted to the exchange of experience in solving current issues in modern dentistry. Original scientific articles presenting the results of experimental and clinical studies, scientific reviews, and materials describing clinical cases that focus on the following issues will be accepted for publication:
